Mama needs her iced coffee, stat!
I’m not really a coffee in the morning kind of gal – I’d much rather prefer a tea or OJ with my breakfast. But, as soon as the afternoon hits, I’m ready for a delicious iced latte to put a pep in my step! Especially when my toddler kept us up all night, and is finally down for his afternoon nap.
We took the leap over a year ago and switched our Nespresso pod coffee machine for a Breville espresso machine. We’re super happy with the switch! The initial investment is definitely something to consider, but the overall recurring cost has proven to be less. I buy different types of coffees for my husband and I to try, and will typically grab larger bags from Costco for additional savings.
Here’s my go-to at-home coffee order: an iced brown sugar cinnamon latte.
Circle ice has been a game changer in adding more joy to my cup! Although I have many glass cups to choose from, I tend to reach for this small mason jar instead. Sometimes I like to make a sweet cold foam for my coffee or top it with extra cinnamon for some pizazz.
Coffee for me is time for myself. I think of it as a little break, a relaxation ritual of sorts, and a mid-day sweet treat (I’m definitely a sweet coffee girly). I love the smell and process of making coffee, and I’m still learning new methods / best practices to “dialing in the bean” or frothing different milk varieties. The coffee tools are cool too!
Finding the little joys in our day can sometimes be tough, but making a simple cup of coffee for yourself is the best and yummiest first step!
